A generation (more probably several generations) of boys bought or had their bikes bought for them from this excellent shop. I myself had my Hercules 'Kestral' (with a 'Simplex' 4speed gear system and Reynolds 531 tubing) bought from Rowbothams in c. 1949 at a cost of £14/-/-. It served me well.
